My collection of soaps I currently have in stock.
All are free of chemicals, preservatives, phthalates, parabens, dyes and artificial fragrances. I only use all natural ingredients with essential oil, spices, and/or botanicals for my colors and scents.
Check my shop out here. Etsy Store I'm pretty excited about it and have had good sales so far!
But our hibernation is now coming to an end. The signs of spring are undeniable now. The chickens are laying more, the robins and geese have returned, new baby calves... the air smells clean and fresh again!
The grass is slowly coming back and I have stared thinking about my garden. I had a hard time giving into fall last year and decided to try an experiment. I planted a late garden of lettuce, spinich, beets and carrots. When the temps. dipped to freezing I put a thick layer of hay over all of them. We got a few more weeks of lettuce, but after awhile I just gave up and left them out there to fend for themselves.
I went to uncover the other day and this is what I found:
Dark green and crisp spinich! |
Perky little carrots! Will they keep growing and be worth eating? I guess we'll see soon enough. Oh and the lettuce and beets? uhhh, a no go! LOL |
"Barbie" was loving the sun this past week.
Our youngest was wanting to see some action that day. I have only once watched a chicken lay her egg. They are pretty picky and most of ours will throw a fit if we are in their house during laying time :)
Have a great week, from our farm to you!
